Arensi-Marley’s
range of uPVC Gutter is an unique and preventive investment
for your buildings. Arensi-Marley’s
ranges of uPVC gutter are based on special formulation
to provide maximum durability,
resistance to all climatic effect and chemical corrosion
as well as remain dimensionally stable overtime.
Its profile varieties are able to complement
any architectural styles, easy to assemble, durable,
maintenance free and never rust or rot.
The Sphera® Gutter installation work
must be done immediately after completion
of fascia board installation. Check thoroughly
that the fascia boards are level and straight.
Always make sure that the fascia board used
must be able to sustain the weight of rainwater
at the eave. A bad fascia board can affect
the performance of Sphera® Gutter and
its appearance. Inspect and measure the
level of fascia board.
Determine the most appropriate type of fastener
to be used (screw or nail) that can provide
sufficient holding force. Screw and nail
used will depend on the type of fascia board
used. (fibre board, wooden fascia or metal
fascia).
Determine Spouthead / outlet position by
ensuring that the Spouthead / outlet should
be at the lowest point (horizontally) at
all times. Install Spouthead Support Bracket
if required (depends on the type of Spouthead
/ outlet used.
Gutter must be slopped at a gradient towards
the Spouthead / outlet at all times for
better discharge flow (approximately 12mm
for every 6M of gutter run).
Install gutter bracket with spacing of 600mm
center to center according to the pre-determined
sloping gradient towards the Spouthead / outlet.
Measure the length of gutter required. Select
the correct gutter length to minimize jointing.
Sphera® Gutters are supplied in the standard
length of 6M and 4M. Gutter can also be supplied
in non-standard length subject to prior agreement
with the factory.
Cut and solvent weld the gutter and fitting
at floor level using Arensi Marley solvent
cement 11. Make sure the cutting edge for
jointing is burr free. The jointing surface
must be dry and free from grease.
Leave the pre-assembled gutter and fitting
till bonding takes place before installing
it into the brackets on the fascia board.
For gutter run of 8M or more, gutter should
be terminated at the appropriate area along
it, preferably at the Spouthead / outlet to
allow for thermal movements.
Completion - through check to make sure gutter
run is properly seated within the Gutter Brackets
to ensure functionality of Sphera®
F370 Gutter. Ensure no debris or rubbish along
the gutter run after completion.
